EVENT | Ben Liu × Louis Vuitton - Hand Painted Custom Gift
For Mother's Day, I was invited by Louis Vuitton for an event activation,
live-painting custom art on their product packagings and gift boxes.
It kind of reminds me my childhood doodling flowers as seen in Japanese Shoujo mangas,
especially Sailor Moon. Quite a pleasure to catch up with my hand-painting skill
and those solitude memories.
I also got the chance to embrace the multicultural clients by switching among
Chinese Madarin, Cantonese, French and English. I was called a "human Google Translator".
I enjoy communicating with people from different cultures, learning from them
in their mother laguages. That was one reason I decided to
move to Québec without knowing a word in French.
I wanted to "jumped in the pool" and learn.
