Metro Montreal #65 - Bethune at Guy-Concordia

I didn't know Mr. Norman Bethune used to live in Montreal.
(I knew that he came from Canada!)
When we were young, he was in our text book.
He was considered as a hero for our Chinese people, as his humanist contribution
for saving people in China during the war.

I drew his story when I was in primary school, the art work brought me an award.
So that's why when I saw this sculpture,
I felt home.

But I found out that not many people here know him...
How about you?

  1. I know Norman Bethune well, but only because I lived in China for a while!
