LOOKBOOK | Death in Venice II - Summer Stripe
If you don't have blond hair,
neither white skin as Tadzio (Björn Andrésen) in the film Death in Venice,
there would be no reason to refuse a stripe tee-shirt. :)
I guess a stripe Tee-shirt can always add a fresh flare in summer.
Picasso, Andy Warhol, Audrey Hepburn, Lee Marvin,
Jean-Paul Sartre and Jean Paul Gaultier...
All these people have one thing in their closet,
a stripe Tee-shirt, also called Breton Tee.
It came from the working-class, then Ms. Coco Chanel did
a golden touch when she was walking along the beach in Deauville.
And then it crossed gender and sexuality,
from music to painting, from movie to fashion.
From daily life back to quotidian.
From France to the world.
Once again, its survive prouves that cliché:
Fashion fades, style is eternal.
